About

Hocuspocus is a small and extensible webserver for controlling key Linux apps remotely via a browser. This means you can adjust the audio volume, change playlists, etc. from any browser, including a wifi enabled PDAs, Iphones, etc. .

You may run multiple hocuspoci running in one household in which case you can use the service manager proxy to access them from a single machine. Besides regular desktop systems, hocuspocus has been successfully used with a "headless" sheevaplug (running Ubutu Hardy, see README).

Hocuspocus is written in Python using Greg Stein's EZT templating system.
